Around Collection by Barlow Tyrie

Around is an elegant family of outdoor furniture for lounging and dining. Simple frames made from bespoke soft aluminium shapes combine with warm and luxurious materials and aesthetic details to create a beautifully coordinated collection.

Designers Nathalie de Leval and Andrew Jones were inspired by spindle and steam-bent wood furniture with tactile shapes, striking silhouettes and clean details. Around's refined powder-coated frames are combined with gently curved teak arms for the chairs and sofas, deluxe, well-crafted cushions for the lounge furniture, subtly profiled edges for the table tops, and a comfortable woven sling for the chairs. Jones and de Leval explain, "Through our hands-on process of design and prototyping, we create timeless designs which have the right human scale, warmth and softness, and subtle details with a careful attention to making. We pare designs down to the essence without removing the poetry."

The lounging collection includes a sofa, a loveseat, a lounge chair and an ottoman, as well as modular sectionals configured to suit any outdoor space. All the lounge seating can have a teak arm or a wrap-around high frame with a side cushion. The stock colour for Around Deep Seating cushions is Sunbrella Rain® (waterproof) Taupe Chalk (10155). Other special order colours are available, see teak.com. Side tables, available in two heights and a square and rectangular coffee table complete the lounging collection. The dining collection includes two sizes for the dining table and a stacking chair, available with or without arms.
